About This Site

These lectures were given at the Philippines OTC.
Haris and Anna Giannaros were born in Greece and were raised as Orthodox Christians.
At the age of 16 Haris began his journey with Jesus as he came  to know Him in a more personal way. Passionate about sharing his loving Saviour with others, after he finished school, he travelled around Greece for one and a half years sharing the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the age of 20 he got married to Anna who also had come to know Jesus and had decided to live for Him. Two days before her 19th birthday, Anna gave birth to Joy the first of their 6 children.
Their passion and desire to share the Good News of Jesus took them to live for the next 6 years in India, Malaysia and Bangladesh.
With the fall of communism in many of the Balkan countries, Haris and Anna printed the Gospel of John in Bulgarian and took several trip distributing the gospel on the streets of several Bulgarian cities.
It was soon after this, in 1993, that God’s call came to them to join The Salvation Army. Two years later they entered the Salvation Army’s college in London and were trained to become officers in the Messengers of God’s Love session.
Haris went on to do a master’s degree with the University of Manchester in Mission, Leadership and Renewal. His two passions are: Mission and Unity in the Church.
Haris and Anna are now serving for the past 7 years as Corps officers in Gillingham, Kent, UK. In Gillingham Corps it is celebrated that brothers and sisters from 13 different nations come together to worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
